		<description>Good call! It&#039;s interesting (if not surprising) to me that marketers are constantly seeking to &quot;game&quot; the system and this has caused the importance of meta tags to drop. Meta tags and descriptions *should* be in the sweet spot for SEO, i.e. usability, that&#039;s to say making it easier for the user to find what they were looking for. To my mind, I always think that whilst meta tags aren&#039;t as important for rankings, they are still important as an additional measure of usability (however small) for the consumer. I guess that&#039;s why social media is such a fresh field to me - companies find it more difficult to game the system and so have to occupy a space by listening to the conversation. Geez, imagine that.</description>
